June 21 (Sun.) Amsterdam - Berlin
Upon disembarking the Avalon Affinity, our group will step
back into a more gracious and elegant age as we embark
luxury rail to travel from Amsterdam to Berlin. Throughout
our journey you will be able to recall
the nostalgia of a simpler, more romantic time
as you comfortably gaze upon the historic regions of
northern and central europe. Our day’s journey ends at the
historic Berlin Central station where we will board luxury
motorcoach and transfer to our hotel in Berlin. Upon
arriving at your hotel, the remainder of the day will be at

June 22 (Mon.) Berlin. Excursion to Wittenberg.
After an orientation drive of Berlin, journey to Wittenberg,
Luther’s home for 30-plus years and birthplace of the
Protestant Reformation. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the
REFORMATION MUSEUM, LUTHER HOUSE, ST. MARY’S CHURCH where he
preached, and CASTLE CHURCH where he hung his 95 Theses.
Also visit MARTIN LUTHER’S TOMB and MELANCHTHONHAUS, home of
Philipp Melanchthon, Martin Luther's right-hand man and the
greatest scholar of the early Reformation. As our tour
concludes, we will return to Berlin for dinner and final
thoughts with Dr. Sproul on our journeys through the heart
of the reoformation. (FB,D)
June 23 (Tues.) Depart Berlin
After enjoying a farewell breakfast with your Ligonier
friends, you will be off to Berlin’s international airport
to board homebound . (FB)
